Pellet boilers can be a complex piece of engineering, the below schematics are to provide information for those unsure what pellet boilers are and whether a biomass boiler is something that they would like to invest in.

Wood pellets are fed from the fuel buffer storage and feeding system.

Pellets ignite, air circulates from the fans, blowing the heat into the heat exchanger.

Combusted air flows through the water heat exchanger. Cold water is fed through and goes out to the heating system.

The gases are particle free when discharged from the Multi-Cyclone, and exit the chimney as smoke.

The air overheater feeds hot air into the Turbine.

Cold air is fed into the compressor side of the turbine.  The turbine generates electricity which is fed back into the grid.

Air from the turbine passes over the pre-heater.  Clean air is introduced back into the boiler.

The complete system can be containerized to minimize the installation costs.  Alternatively the system can be placed on a simple concrete foundation.
